Babar Iqbal has brought great respect for Pakistan in the field of information technology for the fourth time in his 12 years. Proud of Dara Ismail Khan, Babar Iqbal who is also known as cyber kid acquired youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) award.

Earlier he had grabbed three awards for:
  • youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) at the age 9 years
  • Youngest Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) at the age 9 years
  • Youngest Certified Web Professional Associate (CIWA) at the age of 10 years
With his latest record he surpassed another Pakistani star Irfa Kareem Randhawa who made the same record at the age of 9 years. Babar competed the exam for which candidates of higher ages from 25 to 35 were appearing. His two brothers and sisters are also Microsoft Certified Professionals.

IT experts from all over the world have been surprised by the success of Pakistani child star. This bright prospect of young Pakistanis shows the dazzling future of Pakistan in the field of information technology.

New Pakistani Film ‘GIDH’ Rahat Fateh, Shujaat, Amanat Ali Khan will sing for this movie

If you have already got the news that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has Sung 5 Tracks for a Pakistani film- Khamosh Raho, then this exciting news will double the treat for you.

According to some media reports, there is another Pakistani Movie in Line up which will feature voices like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Shujat Ali Khan , Amanat Ali and an Indian Singer Sukhwinder Singh as playback singers. The movie directed by Shamoon Abbasi is titled as ‘GIDH’.

GIDH’s Music is composed by Saaji, while its music direction is given by Kamran Akhtam, who was also the music director for Bollywood Movie Jannat. The film is produced by J.A.R Productions & Shaam Films and is likely to be released in September 2011.

The lead cast of the film includes the dazzling Aisha Khan, Humayun Saeed, Mona Laizza, Syed Jibran and Shoaib Khalid.



Burial chamber of ancient Egyptian queen unearthed

CAIRO – French archaeologists announced Wednesday the discovery outside Cairo of the burial chamber of a mysterious queen from Egypt's Old Kingdom more than 4,000 years ago.

The necropolis of Saqqara outside Cairo has yielded a string of new discoveries as 10 different teams excavate a previously untouched area of these burial grounds were used continuously for more than 2,000 years until Roman times.

French mission head Philippe Collombert said the mummy of Queen Behenu was destroyed, but the chamber contained green hieroglyphics picked out on white stone known as the Pyramid Texts."

"We are excited because the texts are well conserved," he told The Associated Press, adding that the queen's titles were written on the walls of the 33 by 16 foot (10 meter by 5 meter) burial chamber inside her small pyramid.


Rahman wins two Grammy awards

The music composer A R Rahman won two awards at the 52nd Grammy Awards, he has also won two awards before for his Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. Rahman won the first Grammy Award before the show, at the Staples Center. He got the best compilation soundtrack for the category of motion picture. Jai Ho won the best motion picture song later.
